Here’s a little more about our team while you prepare for your interview.
Katey is the Director of Clinical Care at Joon. This role combines many of her favorite things about being a psychologist, including training, managing, and supporting our clinicians, and providing the most authentic and engaging research-based care to teens who wouldn't otherwise make it to therapy. She is a mom to a 4-year-old and 1-year-old, and loves reading, cooking, wine tasting, and being at home with her cat (and family).
Amy has spent 20 years doing research and clinical work with adolescents and young adults. She is really passionate about this age group, and committed to helping youth connect to high quality mental health care. She's excited by Joon's mission to use technology to make mental health care more accessible and engaging. In her free time, Amy is a mom to two teens and loves yoga and travel.
Jeff has over 13 years of Human Resources experience and a passion for attracting therapist talent, serving candidates with best in class customer service, and onboarding teammates to one the best platforms for supporting client needs. When he’s not using his HR skillset, you can find Jeff chasing around his 3 year old daughter, out on a hike with his partner and dog, or out at local Bellingham brewery.
Melissa has over 10 years of social work direct practice experience working with children, youth, and families. She has a passion for bringing accessible mental health care to adolescents and young adults. Through her role of training and managing Joon therapists, she is excited to support clinicians in their work of providing personalized and evidenced-based therapy to clients. In her free time, you’ll find Melissa playing at the park with her spunky son, hiking through mossy forests, or running at sloth-speed down a local trail.
Chris uses his background in recruiting to build a solid team of passionate, diverse therapists eager to work with adolescents and young adults. He has sincere empathy for the human condition, and values diversity and inclusion as a worldview. One of Chris's favorite pastimes is walking his dogs through the beautiful surrounding Seattle neighborhoods, especially during spring.
